Yes. Members reserve boats in advance through an easy online system. Our fleet is designed to meet member demand, especially during peak boating season on Great Sacandaga Lake.
We allow up to 4 rolling reservations at any given time. Simply put – you can have 4 reservations on the books. Once you use one, you free one up. You may book up to 6 months in advance!
No experience needed. Membership includes unlimited training with certified captains, so you’ll feel confident and comfortable at the helm before heading out on your own.
Members enjoy access to a fleet designed for cruising, fishing, and watersports — so you can choose the right boat for the kind of day you want on the water.
Yes. Your membership gives you reciprocal access to 400+ Freedom Boat Club locations across North America and beyond.
Never. This is a private fleet. We do not rent any of the boats in our fleet. This allows us to better maintain the condition of our boats and ensures the highest possible level of fleet availability to our members.
All boats have required equipment (per country guidance) including life jackets, a fire extinguisher, sound equipment, and flares. Boats are checked for this equipment by both the dock staff and member prior to departure.
As long as a member is present, you can bring friends, family, guests, children, colleagues, or even your favorite pet.
Membership is open to boaters of any skill level, 21 years of age and older. Whether you’ve never boated before, or you’ve boated for years, Freedom Boat Club welcomes you as a member.
Enjoy hassle-free boating with no hourly or usage fees—simply pay for the fuel you use.
At Reet’s Marina’s Freedom Boat Club location, you don’t have to worry about purchasing fuel and filling up the boat before or after your day on the water. Your boat will be ready and waiting with a full tank of gas — and when you’re finished, there’s no need to stop at the fuel dock. We simply charge your card for the fuel you use.

Freedom Boat Club covers the monthly cost of insurance for all members. If damage occurs, you would only be responsible for the $2,500 deductible.
For added peace of mind, members can opt into FBC+ for just $500 per year. With FBC+, your deductible is waived — meaning you wouldn’t have to pay the $2,500 deductible if accidental damage occurs.
