Pontoon boat rental rates vary depending on the time of year, the day of the week, the length of the rental, and the size of the vessel. You can reserve one of our pontoon boats for a day, the weekend, a week or longer. Shorter rentals are available on a first come, first served basis.
While a boating license isn’t required to rent a boat, New York requires all operators of motorized vessels to obtain a boating safety certificate, which can be obtained through approved online or classroom courses.
Reservations are highly recommended. We accept reservations for daily rentals and longer. Typically, reservations for weekday rentals can be made a few days in advance, however, weekend reservations should be made at least a week in advance and even further in advance for holidays. Yes, we provide life jackets for all passengers on our pontoon boat rentals. In New York State, children under 12 are required to wear life jackets at all times, and anyone on a boat between November 1 and May 1 must also wear a life jacket when not docked or anchored. Additionally, anyone being towed behind a boat must wear a life jacket. Passengers that can’t swim or are poor swimmers, elderly, or physically handicapped individuals should also consider wearing a life jacket at all times.
Passenger capacity varies depending on the model of the pontoon boat. On average, our pontoon boat rentals can accommodate a maximum of 12 people.
Yes, dogs are allowed on our Great Sacandaga Lake pontoon boat rentals, as long as they stay off the seats.
Yes, we provide free parking for one vehicle, with space for a maximum of two vehicles per pontoon boat rental.
